A cool poem. Itry the rocks, and I think it cool That they laugh with such an excess of glee, As I heavily slip into every pool, That skirts the cold, cold SEA.

what Carroll can do he makes one think if not for the Sea or water to drink he'd blame it on the sea. An excellent poem to read and make one think.
As only Lewis Carroll can do it. The fun of it is that all the points he makes are valid; as well as rhyme and rhythm which make the poem like an ill-advised trip to the SEA..

It is a nice composition on hate of things all abhor; but of them also, some are comparatively better not to hate! That is a great enigma in the world indeed!
Nice thoughts and descriptions about the sea, but I liked this the most: 'Beat a dog till it howls outright - Cruel, but all very well for a spree; Suppose that one did so day and night, That would be like the SEA'.
