The Rose Comments

Such little things carry so much meaning at times... This is what it is to be human, I guess. A poignant piece, Charlie; very much a song, I think.

A heartfelt read, a beautiful write. 'The rose on the ground' is a metaphor for much of human experience. The way you led into that line is admirable. The language was - ah, - poetic. A compassionate and insightful work.

A wonderful poem Charles, to know the pain of others and bring back memories of our own pain of loss. This put my mind to wonder maybe she was waiting for her love, who never came. Patricia
