The readers are eating up this poem...and I'm savouring the bacon. Mahtab, your reference to Francis Bacon has not escaped me. Very astute, my friend. And very gratifying!

Susan, I wish I could take credit for it being a book review. However, it's a satire of my life using Animal Farm as an allegory. Come to think of it, it could also be a satire of Kerouac's life! The beauty of poetry's disguised meanings!

I didn't read Lomon's work so I might be at a disadvantage. But I'm wondering if the black raven is still telling stories? Maybe the "M" in M.J." stands for "Moses? "

Sorry for the misspelling of Lemon

Rob, please do read his poetry. He's one of the most popular poets on PH. And he and Daniel Brick were an invaluable source of inspiration for my upcoming book about Jack Kerouac's spirituality. And yes...the black raven is still telling stories through some of my poetry.
