The Room Poem by Simbarashe Raymond Mudukuti

The Room

It's not that you gave them too much trust
Don't grade this into the trust issues category
It's you who was selfish
You never gave them room for error
Or enough room
That's the most important room
But you did give them room for trust
Big enough meaning you deem that room MORE IMPORTANT
Than the error room
But there your selfish self goes again
People are humans
And humans make errors
If they didn't would the Titanic have sunk?
Scientist have little to no belief
But they live room for the error of parallax
So going back to day 1
You were selfish from the beginning
So we therefore ask
Who started this companionship trial wrong?
Who is to blame then?
You?
