The River Of Time Poem by Santanu Banerjee

The River Of Time

In the winding stream of existence,
Moments flow like whispers,
Glimmers of joy lost in the currents,
Seize the dawn, let laughter linger,
As the sun spills gold upon the waters.

Beneath the banyan's broad embrace,
Children chase shadows, laughter rings,
Spices swirl in the bustling bazaar,
Bright colors and chatter—life sings,
A tapestry woven with silken threads.

Lotuses bloom in muddy embrace,
Emerging pure from the depths below,
In every trial, find the grace,
For even in darkness, beauty can grow,
Like the river, we rise, we ebb, we flow.

The temple bell chimes, a call to prayer,
Echoing through valleys, ancient and wise,
With each resounding toll, we're reminded,
Time's fleeting nature beneath open skies,
So grasp the moment before it flies.

Sunsets drape the horizon in fire,
Each day a canvas, a chance reborn,
In the heart of twilight, desire,
Awaken your spirit with the breaking morn,
For life is a journey, not a scorn.

Plunge into today, let worries unfurl,
Dance with the currents, embrace the thrill,
In the river of time, find your pearl,
Every heartbeat a treasure, every breath a will,
Live in the now, let your spirit be still.
