The Right Chord Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

The Right Chord

Adulteration cent percent
In edible food stuffs
Never have you stopped-
Long live the mankind
How miserable the life is
Wishing, still pleasant smile
Celebrating the poorest life.

A great service to the humanity
Serving each other with a smile
Against the crackers causing
Air pollution and shrill-noise
Judiciary, unnoticed while
All age-groups lift up voice.

Infants silently serve with pure
Innocent and sincere smile
Unmindful of what to eat
What to wear, what not
And how to celebrate.

Bringing it on to fun
Friends and family
Together finally talking about
To be one's own original self
Needn't you to weep for
Needn't to be carried away by
The sweet-dishes or fast-foods
By astute politicians of times.

Resisting common people
Standing up against, means
Positive signs of the change
In human habits and tastes
With unbeatable reach, yet
Seriously focused contents
Living, all in the darkness.

Ignoring, if the slums-
To make the dreams realised
A slap on the face of everyone
Too much is too much-
Invented and reinvented
Isn't it a quinine sugar coated?

Now, the traditional twist-
Feeling the need of the hour
Natural beauty and true love
Going all-out, to give or receive
Bidding good bye to the sweets
Though, feeling twice the joys
Keeping motivational level up.

Surviving still the changes
Stocking up on the skills
Getting first step right
Hitting the right chord.
