Beautifully expressed- the flow of emotions in life vis-a-vis the flow of blood in our veins which is a part of our aging process. Thanks & Congrats, Alan.

In the heat of youth often we can't judge what is wrong and what is right. It dawns upon us only when we become mature in our thoughts and actions. A sound advice to savour the good times that we enjoyed when old age takes us into its grip. Congrats. 'The blood of life grows slower as we meet our dictated age Trying to remember The youth that it once gave.'...is nice. Excellent.

So remember all the goodtimes when your blood would evenly flow and don't thing of the bad times When your blood went around to slow - -Time will surely flow, blood will eventually slow down, but remembering good times will keep us happy. A wonderful poem.Congrats for being selected as the Poem of the Day.

excellent expression - like to quote last stanza So remember all the goodtimes when your blood would evenly flow and don't thing of the bad times When your blood went around to slow ///// Sadness cant not touch my heart, my soul cause I am ecstatic and delighted dweller of the earth

I agree with Poetic Dreamer that you should take another look at the syntax of some of the lines. The last line should read, 'When your blood went around too slow' However I like the content and the way the lines flow.
