The Rhythm Of Falling Leaves
While going on a road lined with tall trees,
I see their leaves falling at the touch of autumn breeze
They come down slowly in rhythm
They fall in ones or twos, sometimes many
And make their downward movement.
They appear like dancing for the last time
Saying goodbye to the branches holding them
And promising to the mother tree to come back again
It seems they are feeling light
They are happy to touch the ground
The autumn leaves in this nice gesture
Teach us the eternal truth that
In this mortal world
we all are like leaves of a tree
When our time comes
We will say bye to Mother earth
With the promise to come back again in our next birth.
