Greeny days always bring back our cherished memories. Dreaming is more enjoyable than actual enjoyment. Of course, you would know this, if you have dreamt about your imaginary fiancee prior to marriage. When Dreams become reality many things fizzle out. I really don't mean married life!

Loved the poem, with its descriptive images, once i was given the key to it at the end (though there were lots of hints before) . And somehow just the sound of this poem is good in itself. Knowing exactly what the images portray is added dressing. Good luck with the oath. One wonders at the cause of the drying.

It's quite sad, to think that may become the common feeling in a not so distant future. So much shall we miss it's soothing effect, and It's sweet chanting as it flows, for shall it become toxic bubbling and white killer foam.... Thanks for sharing

This poem personifies the river. As a person the river is someone every one needs and therefore so important to the people. A goddess even. The renaissance is the river at its former glory once again flowing fast and wide. Giving the people around a good life. Nice poem.10/10.
