The Red Shoes movie,
Is simply pure gold
Starring Moira Shearer,
Her beauty to behold.
From a fairy tale,
By Hans Christian Andersen.
A timeless classic,
Second to none.
The beauty of ballet,
There on the screen.
This movie's magical,
The best I've seen.
A movie of drama,
A movie of magic.
A movie of colour,
A movie so tragic.
I could wax lyrical,
And bore you rotten.
But when viewed,
Its never forgotten.
See The Red Shoes,
And Moira dance.
Become captivated,
Held in its trance.
It lifts my spirits,
And makes them new.
