Nice poem......your diary in actual seems to be combination of your life, mixture of happiness, sorrow, pain, gladness, crying, beating etc, your red diary seems to be multihued of life....nostalgic journey.
The truth frozen in time clever to put memories in this way, very nice to read...regards
Nobody can confiscate the past.None tried therefore.Past lives in Painsky Oblast where turqoise skies soaked in crumpled napkins have their deep wounds as a blast.Past is scot-free therefore.
A forgotten collection of memories that hold all our secrets spilling into a lovely poem!
this is your very different in style and taste, very profound and sweet too....nice to do experiment, .. love it..
Oh the secrets of our diaries, if only my diary was so full! I just put birthdays in mine.
silence scribed Pain described Rehan is humbled to see precis of his life....touched Syeda
We confide and breathe out our secrets, longings, intimate thoughts and heart aches into a diary and keep it in a secret chamber, which is taken out from time to time for ambling into the corridors of the past! It is exclusively our own private property as long as we are alive, but later abducted and subjected to indepth perusal to read between the lines! An enjoyable read!
just made an image place at the centre, surrounded by haunting ghost (he past) laughing, crying, beating pseudo madness.....enjoyable...ebbing back to faded turquoise.....nice
It is terse, incisive and nostalgic. In fact we are linked with days bygone through bitter-sweet memories. It's romantic and written right from the heart.
It looks like a description of my diaries that I kept through years! :) Good and gentle write! Regards, ~Besa
Diaries are great- As you say past ebbs back to us and we become immersed and re-live the memories! Your poem is a beautiful write!
Kept diaries contain so many memories - a life encapsulated, emotions both happy and sad. Beautifully described here in your poem Shahzia.
This poem was at the back of my mind when I wrote a poem on My Diary today. I took look at the poem again and wondered how I missed to add my comment. Notes in faded blue and comments highlighted in pink. Result is turquoise blue. Beautiful rendering. Thank you.
