Without going into the political context, this is a corageous poem: poets should always speak up their minds. Period. You may disagree with political views expressed but in a world of hypocritical political correctedness we can only hope that poets will be the last ones to dare to wear their heart on their sleeve. Rhetorical question: how many member poets are feeling outraged about something but choose instead to write about birds. flowers or unrequited love? Nothing wrong with that, as long as it's not a form of escapism, especially when it's symtomatic of wanting to escape from our own feelings.
