The Reconstruction Poem by Sophie Allyah

The Reconstruction

Death is just the beginning
As you dip in the luminescence of light
No more suffering and bleeding
The ever darkness is fading...

But what good is living without sin?
Without the torment of pain?
Yes! The pain!
To feel hurt is knowing that we're alive!
And deconstructing the habit is like slaughtering oneself
And slaughtering means death!
And death means the end!
We must live to feel felicity
And felicity means great happiness!
For knowing you're alive is feeling the pain!
Oh, the pain!
The consolation of the pain!
Reconstructing oneself to live once again!
And once again soaked in pain as you embraced darkness!
Rejoice and be grateful for feeling throes of terrible agony!
