The Rainy Day Poem by Asit Kumar Sanyal

Suddenly rain started
we had dinner little early
granny said... Sudha, go and sleep
and closed her door
at 9.30 I went to Kamu
He gave me a cup of warm milk
I had it sitting on his bed
he opened all the windows
to enjoy the rain.

I said Kamu,
today you imagine I am Radha
and enjoy me in same way
as you enjoyed Radha
first time, on the stormy day
Kamu did that
and I enjoyed him untill rain stopped
Kamu closed all the windows except one
took me on his chest
and said, sleep my baby,
you are exhausted
I slept within 5 minutes
and woke up at midnight
when my period started
I wore my nighty and said Kamu
good bye dear, I will meet you again
after 4 days
and went to my room.
