The Rainforest Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

The Rainforest

Rating: 5.0

The waterfall baptised us
And cleansed our sin away
The waters were cool to bathe our bodies
In the blessed bliss
As we made love nearby,
The animals beame silent
And we slept in the rainforest,
With our arms are wrapped in each other
Holding our love together
The afternoon sun dried us,
As we begun to dress
As the dusk arrived, the stars began
To shine their beams, guiding us to our campsite
We arrived safe and tired
As we made love once more
By the light of the moon
The birds flew in the darkness
Making no sound
