I have an ambition of returning to the country with hills and rivers nearby Oh, to nature now let me go back Adoring Yuanming's country life, in the boring military life I should pack. this poem is about longing to be in nature and enjoy its simple pleasures. so true that we are not able to enjoy the pure beauty of nature because our concentration is on so many other things. thank you for this poem that makes the reader think a l ot. tony
