'The Rain' Poem by Linda Winchell

'The Rain'

A rainbows droplet fell upon my windshield
Then another and another fell.
Wipers now swishing them all away
All now forming me, a wishing well.

A well in which I can make a wish
To hopefully make all of my dreams begin.
Drip by drip they were building up
Colors from God, all perfectly painted in.

Red, blue, green and yellow
Brightly now filled in with God’s love.
All from just one droplet, on my windshield
Of the rain drops that fell from above.
