The Rags In The Bridal Shop Poem by njeri loise

The Rags In The Bridal Shop

the rags that hung the bridal shop
they frustrate the bridal gowns
they wear and tear edges
the young reject the gown
they attract the lineage customers
like a pithon they swallow and faint
their hatred recount to genesis
but days will not recount to colonialism
the rags that hung the bridal shop
frustrate designers idea
their hatred build not the empire
the rags that hung the bridal shop
frustrate and rejects the galley
the rags that hung the bridal shop
reject the brightness
