The Quiet Poem by prasanna kumari

The Quiet

In the petals of a blossom
which silent tears shed
a quivering quietness hid.
A wave embraced its shore
while silence roared in its soul
A shore let go while yearning to hold
with gloomy lull within.

A moonlit night hid in her heart
the tranquility of her Sun.

In the sighs of a torn woman's worth
dark silence lurks in
In the cruel jests of lust
desolate innocence was hushed.

We then had to watch an infant
nourishing on a bosom dead.
Searching for the heart of the void
I reached my very own soul.

The deluge and its dance of death
shrouded the earth in a grand silent truce.
Love broke my heart and I felt
a silent gasp within.
