Dear Sylvia, thank you for your profound comments. My poem is metaphorical. It describes the relationship between an empath (the Queen) and a covert narcissist. The Queen will always have a moral and spiritual victory over the manipulative and abusive narcissist.
ONE: I know this Queen too, indeed, she always wins, then it's checkmate. In the chess game, the Queen always wins, so absolutely right. From the first lines, I saw at a glance that this is about chess play.
