The Psychologist Poem by Jan Oskar Hansen

The Psychologist

The psychologist

Worried about my drinking I made an appointment
To see the psychologist, he was not there, his secretary
Said he was in the garden.
He sat on the top of a tree imitating a hawk, looking
Down at me and said: "have you never seen a hawk."
"It is me, doctor, I have an assignment with you.
"Sorry, he said I had forgotten but can`t come down
As I`m too pissed.
I got a ladder and with the help of his secretary got
Him down, several coffees later he had composed
Himself got hold of his block and pen and asked
"So, what is your problem?

This is what exactly a psychologist should be doing and many times i have seen they do it to the patient. There is a reason. They want to divert the person. They want the patient to think the psychologist as in their group..the same. Thanks for sharing.
