The Propagated Travelling Wave Poem by J Sheba Anandhi

The propagated travelling wave
Gets reflected from the closed end,
Since the two opposing waves
With same frequency and amplitude
Combine to form a standing wave,
There forms node at one end
And antinode at the other end,
The difference between any two antinodes,
Also the difference between any two nodes,
Is equivalent to half the wavelength of a sound
Wave in a given medium,
From which the wave's velocity can be found.
