My mother's last words
'Why are you not fulfilling
your father's promise? '
I replied,
'With my last breath
I'll take the treasure of wisdom
to my grave.'
Forty years swimming in the ocean
of poetry, I have kept my faith
reaching out to the sky
to make my dream come true
to thirst and hunger for
the crown I have challenged
the world with every breath
of mine to declare how
committed I am to
achieve my goal
while my father was yet
alive he persuaded me to
follow the path of
enlightenment and to free
my soul
he taught me the ancient
art of looking through
the third eye and to shape
the future how I want it
to be
he nurtured me with knowledge
of the self for me to recognize
my true identity
today I am so happy
to be in the company
of great poetic minds
and to learn from
the masters how to take
my dream to stamp
in the window of the sky
I choose to become a sage
and wait for the whisper of silence
to keep me in awareness
of the truth
I ask for the guardian
of the clouds to listen to my cry
as a child would plead
to have castles build on the
seashore which he will
never forget until it
becomes in oneness with
the reality of the universe
as time would heal all wounds
I have the patience to keep
courage and to silently
wait for success to reach.
my father's soul
will not rest in peace
nor will I be able to leave
this world except the
goal is accomplished
I have defeated death
on so many occasions
to contemplate on
the divine spark that
exist within
I believe that I am inspired
by the God's to be here
upon earth at this point
in time to continue in
the quest for wisdom
and to lead humanity
beyond the call of duty.
