The Prisoner Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The Prisoner

Rating: 5.0

After so many years of imprisonment,
The prisoner is free to move today,
He is ecstatic now,
He wants to enjoy his life
To his heart's content,
But in reality this does not happen,
As he tries to relish,
The harsh memories of the prison haunt him always
And he screams in extreme pain and agony,
But in vain,
He can never get rid of it.
