atan drank no wine, played no game,
He knew God's oneness, praised His name.
No theft, no lie, no shameful deed,
But pride alone destroyed his creed.
He said, "I'm better, " raised his head,
And from the mercy's light, he fled.
So wealth and fame, and rank — beware!
Such pride can burn beyond repair.
Don't let your heart with ego rise,
It casts you out from Heaven's skies.
Like Satan fell for words he said,
A crown of fire was his instead.
