The Prevailing Earthwinds Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

The Prevailing Earthwinds

The Prevailing Earthwinds

So disurbing, and sad and pensive,
Prevailing bad fortunes, bad omens,
And bad things happenings, all together,

Earthwinds, the life and death scenarious,
We are not in control, only words, expressions of rage and anger,
We expect justice over defeats,

the impatience of the crowds waitings, God's hands,
The sum totals,
Last night's news stories, history books,

Every engrossing details, the crimes, passions and the abusive power, gold, greedy men
and more the perpetrated violence,

Humans fingeprints, on maps, on every bloodbaths on every street's litters, rotting animal corpses, fossils
And the denuded forrests,

Every creatures, the ribbons of encirclingairbird's,
Is counting on some changes, ecological legacies and more foods on the tables,

Every sons and daughters, God's lowly beasts,
Want God's hands justice and nature Utopia,
Let these changes begins,
