I don't know, Richard. These poems of yours are... not very good. Sorry.

Yes, dear Richard. At the time of every celebration we should think of the less privileged and pray for them sincerely and wipe their tears with tears of joy. What a superb humanitarian thought. May God bless you

The picturesque language is so great that it has implied the beauty of Christmas season. Thanks for sharing.

Although Christmas seems quite a while ago now, your poem brings the spirit to life again. I too think of the less fortunate and, in particular, the homeless in my city whom I see most days. A true Christmas poem.

Lovely and meaningful poem, Richard. Much enjoyed. Why can't the Christmas spirit be with us all year round?

Open your heart to the less fortunate. Dry the tears of pain with tears of joy. Hear the agonising screams of the Drummer boy. Taste the poverty of those sleeping out in cold. Excellent ideas in each of the stanzas. Wonderful Sir. The point to be noted is the poet from the most powerful nation has written this song for healing the souls suffering in this world.

Really very hard task the poet has prescribed to conceive as a present in presence of Christmas. Otherwise the poem brings good air to live as a man of feelings. Thanks to the poet for his golden thoughts. Regards, Pranab k c

It is the perils of life....we all should be exposed to the harsh condition of poverty, destitution and violence to appreciate goodness. Thank you.
