In my opinion, this is an incredibly powerful poem. The wonderful sentiments expressed here, particularly in the last stanza, remind me somehat of several lines from Shelley's epic political poem, ' The Masque of Anarchy'(1819) : ' Rise like Lions after slumber/In unvanquishable number-/Shake your chains to earth like dew/Which in sleep had fallen on you/ Ye are many - they are few'. This lovely poem! So full of hope and strength and optimism. Yes, there is great power in many of us but we engage in an unending fight. The forces of evil are such that they keep on renewing themselves, They also don't give up! Its tiering to have to keep fighting all your life. But one should never give up, no matter what!
