The message is good, but the structure and word choice need some help. For instance: 'I had it the hardest of all for I was the poor man that you would see On the streets, with no money to live and enjoy life. I would roam the streets in the night. I walked along the streets looking for food in trashcans. People walking down the streets would look at me like A killer out to kill people.' In the span of 6 lines you use ' streets' 4 times. Doing that will make even the best writers seem uncreative.. It's not a bad piece by any means, it just needs to be a bit tighter. Good luck. Always, amberlee
