The Poor Man's Deed Goes Punished Poem by Eillio Imbasciati

The Poor Man's Deed Goes Punished

For her,
He wore a big heart
But alas,
The poor man's deed goes punished
Warm feelings, hot day,
But even the weather shows no compassion
He needs a hotter guise,
Although he's too weary to reshuffle,
His dedication pared away until he could no longer endure such indignities
Conviction no longer required,
He's moved on to the downpour and the rather downcast
