What a marvelous write reflecting a poet's persona in a green field that is high on plateau, ready and happy to welcome the travelers, families picnicking together, young couple discover love.It is not a field but a happy heart to see these beautiful things happen. The green field empty and still, sleeps and dreams, only to be aroused by sun, the light, the poetic inspiration. 'It watches for a second time the poems lifting their voices heavenwards' The poet finds perfect bliss- - - - - the voices of poem mingle with blessings of heaven.

Wow....... this is so beautiful! How well I can relate to this poem as most of my poems too spring from Nature! This field of cottonwood and tall growing birch trees must be the happy haunt of every Nature loving poet. In this verdant grove where silver leaves keep flashing, poets find inspiration. The well springs of imagination eject out here into cooling showers. Nature holds the key to our aesthetic and poetic imagination. When we are in love with Nature, poetry is born in every grove and field. Once again you have proved through this poem that Nature inspires, heals and delights!

Daniel! I read and think: poets are so lonely, not so many. others just envy or don't like to hear them. so the field- I even can't imagine it. as well as the field of saints here now. The second stanza is full of light, but I would add there more vision of spheres, lines, spirals - to make it more irreal and breathtaking. you are superb as always! ! ! !

What a classic! I absolutely love the imagery in this poem. Nature is a poet's greatest inspiration. There's poetry in Nature n there's Nature in poetry. You have beautifully described the mingling n merging of Nature n poetry. A poet's vision is as vast as Nature. Great work.

Nosheen, your response has doubled the experience of this place for me! From the senses through the imaimagery to the vision, you are inside the poem. Writing this poem saved me from a bad day; your response makes the rescue complete!

I have not heard of this place, but by your description, it sounds aptly named.

Oh, you have several of these places too. I remember one of your poems when you returned to a place behind a church from childhood. Just walking the steps flooded your memory with sensory riches.
