It doesn't really matter how many people are reading us, but what they feel at the end of reading us. Because sometimes one poem could change a life. I was contemplating life as useless, when the poem of a young girl caught my attention. She wanted to change the world. It was so much energy and enthusiasm that I could not help to smile thinking: sweet but how could only one person do it? That question will sit with me for a life time maybe. I can't remember the poem's nor the poet's name, only the feel that came from it. Helped me to realize that we all can do something. That each of us regardless of age, gender or status can change the world for the better or for the worst. Nothing stays as it is. By simply being alive we change things.. The poets might be the first dreamers to try for the change of the world, they should do it. Because all their being is a heart. When feeling the entire world with a heart we become so sensible that even the bending of a flower could make our heart beat different. The most peaceful people I feel to be not the monks but the poets. Maybe not all of course, we go through different stages. We focus first only inside, being a bit selfish but eventually we connect to own soul and from there with the outside world. And then wow! What an amazing view when you look at things with your soul! Everything is dressed in orange or in pink, even if beneath are awful things. It is merely a soul's reason of being to know how to forgive and find some reason to smile, for right about anything. But the poets also have one duty. To follow the changes to tell them truthful, and to raise consciousness and awareness at a higher level.
