The Poet Poem by Simbarashe Raymond Mudukuti

The Poet

Forgive my lips for the words they never said
I could hear words knocking from behind the besieged doors of my chest
Today I'm here to rectify that error
Let my lips be put on trial
Let you my voice be heard
The words come out guns blazing
Having no mercy for the ears listening
So as the stage clears and the crowd cheers
I would like to introduce myself
I am Kp12vT
I am a wordsmith by profession
And yes your best guess is as good as mine
I am a poet
