The Pen Drops Poem by Maclawrence Famuyiwa

The Pen Drops

So, truly this day will come that your goodness will no longer be in that office,
But good enough, you have been a good leader well committed and dedicated to service.

You have shown to all eyes and the hearing of all ears that you are a good boss,
You shared niceness to everyone that journeyed with you in this bus.

You led with compassion and never were you ever in a bad mood,
Your goodness is sweet enough to be served as a delicious food.

You made me to realize that no matter how long, one day we'll all retire,
It is our goodness that would be worn by all we met while in service as our attires.

Several millions of words are not enough to write your kindness in a testament,
But our solace is that your goodness will open new doors of happiness for you post-retirement,

May the Almighty God never stops showing you good favours,
May you forever continue to have wonderful and beautiful occurences in your life to savour.
