The Painted Sky Poem by Paul Warren

The Painted Sky

A painted sky
The sun says goodbye
Clouds colour dark blue and red
The light leaves the night instead

A jet liner draws a white line
Straight and true measuring divine
Birds settle in the trees
The day ends no more to please.
