This is one of my favorite poems. It is, however, contrary to Christian theology, and refers to reincarnation as a way to redeem one's self. Alas, no one makes mistakes on purpose.

Robert William Service would have made a mighty pastor in the service of the Lord. He certainly can paint a picture of the Judgment of a soul and give us all hope that at least one shall speak for us. I really feel his heart and soul was in this poem
