The Oueue Lines And The Waiting List Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

The Oueue Lines And The Waiting List

The Queue Lines And The Waiting List

The queue lines are long and the crowds,
on the waiting lists
are getting longer.

The people on the lineups, on the waiting lists are getting longer and moreimpatient,

Unaccounted eyes are ogling at the empty skies for the great promise.

As all the wild men and the women all around the world join in the haunt for an immortal sky,

Beyond this space of a corruptiblebody which is always unstable, and set to decay.

The upheavals of the bones and the bodies,
Which are always rotting and set for decomposition.

Will we ever find the Holy Grail?
Will we ever partake a drink at the
Eternal Fountain?

Can the body clock be restarted?

But what willnature's cells tell us,
Would it be a boon to mankind,

Or would it be the opening ofanother Pandora's Box?

Those ancestors and the hopefull descendance are asking the same questions and awaiting the ultimate answers.

And the waiting lines are long and the queue of people onwaiting listsare getting longer.
