Don't you know why
many poems
include stars, the moon, and clouds?
when poets see
trees and iron
turning into coal and bombs,
they look up at the sky above.
I'm not saying they are angels,
indeed, they love the kinship of angels,
but I am certain
that they are not devils.
A poet's capital is words,
and for everyone, free.
this makes them
unfamiliar with the stock market and the exchange.
this does not mean
they don't like life and wellbeing,
but they are certain that money
is further and further distancing them-
from poetry and happiness.
poets always soar in the realm of imagination.
they don't want to hear about wars,
when they look with the eye of the heart,
and carefully consider what they see
the entire world would be
theme for poems.
their inclination is humanistic,
therefore they don't understand politics or racism.
that is why some poets seem strange or obscure!
to those who don't think the same way,
This clear poem is directed to those
who don't understand the symbols of poetry.
