The Oppressed And The Oppressor (Part 3) Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

The Oppressed And The Oppressor (Part 3)

The Palm's victories lie in innocence and goodwill
It neither harms nor think evil
For the wind, bird and fire
The antagonist of no just cause
Like the old man did say to me
"The Lord drives away flies for the tailless cow"
So when the mighty wield their rod
And unjustly bring the heavens down
The sadist with a smile
Send their vicious hurricane
Remember the Lord
Remember the flies
Remember the tailless cow.
