The Oppressed And The Oppressor (Part 2) Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

The Oppressed And The Oppressor (Part 2)

Rating: 5.0

The wind blew forcefully
The palm obediently bows
Just for a time
And it again regain erect
The birds came in hundreds
To rip off the leaves
Evergreen the palm maintains
And grew more leaves for photosynthesis
The fire came to scarp the trunk
And the palm is beautified by the black patches.

I read both part one & two. A very good use of image to convey your thoughts in the two poems.
