Claiming to be wise but slowly becoming fools
Although they know God, glorifying him they don't
Nor honor Him with their ways of life
The glory of the immortal God
They have exchanged with things of the mortal man
So over to their evil desires, He has given them
Only by getting back to God can they be redeemed
Exchanging the truth of God for lies
Worshipping created things instead of the creator
So to shameful lusts, He has given them over
People of the same gender inflamed with lust for one another
The sentence has always been passed on to them
Only by getting back to God can they be redeemed
Retaining the knowledge of God they don't consider worthwhile
So He has given them over to a depraved mind
Taking advantage of his grace each day
Constantly inventing new ways to do evil
Only by getting back to God can they be redeemed
Though they know their ways lead to the grave
They proudly walk and approve those who walk in them
Only by getting back to God can they be redeemed
