The Only Way To Have A Friend Is To Be One Poem by Roxanne Dubarry

The Only Way To Have A Friend Is To Be One

"The only way to have a friend is to be one." Ralph Waldo Emerson ***

"The only way to have a friend is to be one."
Take a good look at your life.
How it's been without the Lord Jesus Christ.
Take a good look at yourself.
Instead of casting stones at every body else.

"The only way to have a friend is to be one."
Do you walk around in a complete daze.
Is it because you do not have the necessary
strength to face yet another day all alone
by yourself?

"The only way to have a friend is to be one."
You really need to put your trust, hope and
faith in a wonderful someone. His name is
Jesus Christ, and he can become the sunshine
of the rest of your life.

"The only way to have a friend is to be one."
Jesus Christ will teach you how to treat other
people too. And they will learn how to believe in you.
But first you must really believe in yourself.
You are a worthwhile person.

"The only way to have a friend is to be one."
Try taking a good look at yourself in your mirror.
And start trusting Jesus Christ to take away your
deepest and darkest fears. Why should you spend
the rest of your life afraid?

"The only way to have a friend is to be one."
Jesus Christ is willing to clean up your life.
From inside your very soul, and there is no
need to think once or even twice.
Jesus Christ has given you your free gift of
everlasting life.
