Here you are at once so emotionally involved and detached! A relationship that was so gratifying at onetime turned into incompatibility and finally it had to break up! But you don't seem to have any resentment for the man! With stronger wings you chose to fly to unknown skies with dignity and hope! A very candid portrayal of a love forsaken! A moving write! A sad poem of loves labours lost. I can feel the heartache but see an inner strength that shines through lifting you high above your old love. A good poem.

A great poem, it's when the flaws start to show that the problems start. Our feelings my not change, because you can't just switch them off. But what we want and need does change.
