The One That I Miss Poem by Minerva Agriam

The One That I Miss

So placid night,
The moon is fully bright;
Shining out on uncloudy sky,
Lightening up the milky sky.

The city is so sweet,
On this yuletide's best;
Lanterns with colorful lights,
Hang up on busy streetlights.

This night is so dear,
Remembering someone dear;
Light conversations on a chair,
Or playing cards for a change.

Like this night I met,
The one that I miss;
His so natural and cool,
Intelligent and playful.

For you the one that I miss,
Moments with you are the best;
They are enjoyable and colorful,
Something valuable and beautiful.

Ah! The one that I miss,
I may forget you in haste;
But moments like this,
Shall bring me sweet bliss.
