The Old Temple Poem by Kostas Lagos

The Old Temple

Rating: 5.0

Shadows are getting heavier
darkness is getting thicker
uder the old temple
Chants are heard from far away
sounds of ages past
The scent of incese
never stopped filling the space
The campanile seems to getting alive
the bells chime in a frequency
that only I can hear
A dark so bright
is blinding my eyes
The screams of the nightbirds
roughly awakes me
But was I
really asleep?
