The Oddity Of Sex Poem by Jan Oskar Hansen

The Oddity Of Sex

Oddity of sex

The kitchen was cold
Switched on the gas making coffee
It warmed my midriff
And I thought of it, only briefly
Breakfast more important
Never thought I should think that
But there we are.
I knew of a woman who only wanted me
To look at her fanny and no touching.
I did but thought of other things
how many millions of stars are the in heaven?
has anyone counted them?
Suddenly she wriggled like a worm in damp soil
Sex over.
she covered her body in a sheet
And she fell asleep.
I took the bus home.
