A thoughtful write. I too agree, those who denounce humanistic entity have to be certainly kept at a distance. I too, used to visit temples almost everyday and today I rarely goto temple. As time taught me I cannot change my fate line, which I am born with. Yes, to cross the storms, everyone chooses different ways. If I just sit and pray, nothing is going to happen. I have to swim across or the other choice left is to get drowned. But to get courage, one prays. I do believe in fate, but after knowing fate, what I can do is nothing.The things will take place as it should be. Some things doesn't happens coincidently, but its well played by the time and situation. I have noticed it many times. Some don't pray, but they have strong will power, to swim across at their might. While others pray to get enough courage, and will to cross, it's not that they are lacking in will power, but they have faith, prayers changes things. The main thing is to cross the storms. No one is wrong in either ways. Choose any ways, but both ways are correct, this I will tell today.... Loved reading it. Those who denounce humanistic entity have to be certainly kept at a distance... no doubt! But I don't understand how searching immortality becomes uglier in your eyes! Remember, there are mortals who feel fortified at the thought of a world of immortal bliss awaiting them which make them brave enough to face death! As you fear and as Diane has hinted, I don't have an armoury to silence you or douse your heated arguments! I am just a humble mortal who believes that if God doesn't will, I cannot take a step further! Since you are confident enough to brave ahead without a God, well proceed without any hesitation! Enjoyed the poem!
