Wow. Unfamiliar with the Tennyson piece for which you wrote this, I must say it is very interesting, fascinating, and consequently, rather intriguing. The begger elevated to royal honour....marvelous, and seemingly reminiscent of Cinderella and so many other fairytales. You rendered it delightfully in rhymed quatrains. What a kind father! I quite enjoyed this!
