Benevolent and righteous
Are there planted within him,
But indifference slowly tormented
And killed these virtues in him.
He has eyes but not see,
He has ears but not hear,
He has heart but not felt,
The blood, cries and sufferings
Of his people within the state?
He did nothing
Not because he is unable,
But because he is unwilling,
For his good heart has not grown
To be receptive to the plead of his people.
