It's a nice poem, I read its Urdu translation as well, the original poem is really beautiful.

It's a wonderful poem. The poet's 'oscillations amid optimism and gloom' are clear and tangible. I would put my two cents on: 'a bird’s warble at dawn', and ' a murmur of a streamlet that dances on the stones', and ' jubilant sounds on the shoulders of gales', to sing 'A tune in mirth', 'To join gleeful lays'

Between rapture and woe the spirits waver Oscillations amid optimism and gloom Some flowers wreathed for tombs Tiny blooms stringed for tresses Great lines summing up the whole tone and essence of the poem! Enjoyed much! !

The images of melancholy are set side by side with the images of life, depicting a chaotic state of mind of the poet... of that poet who knows her job well... the interrogative mood of the poem is suggestive... yes, the lines are amazing, indeed!
